This simple remedy is for all those people who have afflicted MOON in their birth chart.
Many people go through a lot of mental trouble because of Moon-Rahu, Moon-Ketu, Moon-Mars, or Moon-Saturn combinations. These combinations are responsible for creating different types of mental disorders.
Depression, Fears, Phobias, Disinterest, Unwillingness, Anxiety, Stress, Unwanted Thoughts, Negative Thoughts, Obsessive Behaviours, Schizophrenia, Epilepsy, etc all kinds of disorders have common root cause of afflicted MOON.
Off-course that's not the only reason. Other planetary positions, aspects, combinations also play important roles. That's why we have to study the birth chart to see exactly what is causing the mental disorder, how long it's going to last and when you are going get relief from it.
But this post is not about that.
This post is about everyone who has afflicted moon in the birth chart. So if you are going through some rough period, emotionally-mentally-psychologically, then this post will help you.
Since childhood we hear lots of things from our parents. Do this, do that. Don't behave like this, behave like that. Recite this mantra, that shloka, etc.
We listen to all of that because we are little, but after we grow up, we give up all those spiritual practices. We ignore all those things that our ancient Indian sages have left for us in the form of Mantras, Stotras, Shlokas, etc.
There is one such remedy, that's used to be common in almost every household a few years ago, but not anymore. And that is Gannapati Atharvashirsha!
GANESHA means Lord of the Ganas. That's the meaning we know. However, in ancient Sanskrit texts there is another meaning is given which goes like this:
"GA" means our Senses, "NA" means awareness, and "ISHA" means the ruling God, that means, GANESHA is the "God who makes us aware of our senses".
In Same Way:
"Shirsha" means : Head
"Tharva" means: Shakeable or Unstable
And "A" means not or un.
So Atharvashirsha means: A Stotra that makes your head (brain & mind) unshakable.
So for all kinds of mental-emotional-psychological issues Ganapati Atharvashirsha is the best remedy.
If you have afflicted moon in your birth chart or if you are going through a MOON MAHADASHA or ANTARDASHA, then chant this holy text at least once daily. Don't chant in mind. Say it out loud. You don't want to miss the vibrations of that holy sound.
If any of your friend or relative is suffering from mental disorders you can sit with them and chant this so they can hear that and the holy vibrations can heal them. If the disorder is serious one, please don't chant this without proper birth chart analysis.
