Overcoming Adoption Struggles And Welcoming A Child : Astrological Insights
Astrology Case Study: How One Couple Overcame Adoption Struggles and Finally Welcomed a Child
Not long ago, a couple contacted me—let's call them Alex and Julie—who were heartbroken after multiple failed attempts to adopt a child.
They had faced rejection from several agencies for reasons that I won't share here. But what I'm going to share is - why their journey to parenthood was filled with obstacles, and more importantly, how they could finally overcome them.
So if you are also trying to adopt a child and going through difficulties, this post will offer the relief...
After I started studying their individual charts to gain insight into the situation, I noticed why both of them were facing challenges in conceiving a biological child.
The positions of the 5th house (the house of children) in both their charts were revealing. For Alex, the 5th house lord was debilitated, and Julie had a malefic influence of Saturn and Rahu in his 5th house.
These planetary positions often indicate difficulty in childbirth or the possibility of not having biological children. (There were some other indicators too, which I won't share here, because I don't you to find those placements in your chart and start worrying for no reason. Astrology is a complex system and even bad placements promise good results sometimes. )
What intrigued me more was their shared decision to adopt a child. There are certain planetary combinations that point towards adoption, and in both of their charts, I saw these markers.
For example, Jupiter, the planet of blessings and expansion, was retrograde in both charts. Retrograde Jupiter often signifies an unconventional path to parenthood, including adoption, surrogacy, or fostering.
The fact that Jupiter was retrograde showed that they were meant to receive a child in a different way.
However, their current dashas were the real problem behind their struggles.
Both were going through difficult Saturn Dashas, which can delay progress, cause bureaucracy, and create obstacles in life-changing decisions.
In Alex’s chart, Saturn was transiting his 7th house (house of partnerships and contracts), while in Julie’s chart, Saturn was aspecting her 4th house (home and family life). This created hurdles in finding the right agency and securing approval.
Moreover, Julie’s moon was in Ashlesha, a nakshatra known for bringing emotional turbulence and hidden fears. And Alex’s moon was in Moola, which sometimes signifies the need for deep transformation before major life blessings arrive.
This combination suggested that their journey to parenthood would not be straightforward, but rather filled with trials and emotional upheaval.
The turning points came with the planetary transits.
Jupiter’s transit into their 9th houses was a promising sign, as this house is associated with long journeys, blessings from past karma, and adopting a child from a foreign source.
Venus, the planet of nurturing and caregiving, was also set to enter Julie’s 5th house within a few months, signifying a new opportunity in matters of children.
After seeing these astrological patterns, I advised them to wait for this upcoming Jupiter and Venus transit and prepare themselves mentally for another attempt. And recommended a few remedial measures to increase their chances.
Finally, their patience paid off.
As the transits shifted, they applied to a new adoption agency once again. This time, everything fell into place. Jupiter’s direct motion brought them good news, and Venus in the 5th house worked wonders.
What had once felt like a series of endless roadblocks suddenly became smooth and effortless.
They were selected as adoptive parents for a baby boy within the exact time frame I had predicted.
Interestingly, during the final stages, Mercury was retrograde, a period often feared for miscommunications and delays. Yet, in their case, it worked to their advantage.
The agency had initially shown interest in another couple, but due to some last-minute paperwork errors, the decision flipped in favor of Alex And Julie. Retrograde Mercury reversed the course of events, steering it in their direction!
Today, Alex and Julie are proud parents, living a fulfilled life with their adopted son.
Their chart may have hinted that biological children weren’t in their destiny, but astrology also showed that adoption was the perfect alternative for them.
Sometimes, what seems like a denial from fate is actually a redirection towards a more rewarding path.
Had Alex and Julie consulted me or any other astrologer earlier, perhaps they could have avoided the initial heartache and rejection they faced.
Imagine the pain and frustration of going through years of disappointment, only to realize that the stars had already charted a different course for you—a course that, when followed, could save you from wasted time, emotional distress, and heartache.
If you’re considering adoption or facing obstacles in any major life decision, astrology can provide the clarity you need to move forward. Let's discuss.
